So… I’ve neglected this website for a year and a half or so. Well, to recap what happened: I stopped school at the end of the 2019 spring semester, I had to get an IV and have tests done to determine that I had developed an allergic reaction to my previous medication, the apartment was sold and I was able to talk my way to an early end of my lease, I moved back to South-Central Wisconsin, then the lock-downs started around March of 2020. After that, it was a whole lot of nothing.
I gained weight over the lock-downs and finally broke the dreaded 300 lbs limit with a highest weight of 305 around New Year. I started a ketogenic diet and experienced some weight-loss even before going to the gym. Now I’m down to 275 lbs. A major improvement, but still above my weight of 250 this time last year. But I have hope, as I did loose 30 lbs in less than two months. I also find that the diet has significantly improved my mental health, emotional health, and over all energy.
